Frequently asked questions

Does OrderTask work with ClickUp's Free plan?

Partly. Custom-field mapping requires a paid ClickUp plan — ClickUp Free Forever caps lifetime custom-field values at 60, which a live store burns through in days. On Free workspaces, OrderTask writes order details into the task description instead (and tells you so in-app).

How does the free trial work?

You get 7 days free, billed through Shopify Billing like any app subscription. Uninstall before the trial ends and you're never charged. No card details beyond what Shopify already has.

What happens if a sync fails?

It retries automatically with backoff, and the attempt is visible in your sync log either way. An hourly reconciliation sweep also polls recent orders to catch anything a dropped webhook missed. Silent failure is the one thing this app is built to never do.

What happens to my data when I uninstall?

Your ClickUp tasks are yours and stay exactly where they are. On uninstall we delete your sessions and queued jobs and disconnect your ClickUp token; within about 48 hours Shopify triggers a full purge of everything else we hold.

Does OrderTask change anything in my store?

No. It uses read-only Shopify permissions — it can't modify orders, products, or your theme. It only writes to the ClickUp List you point it at.
